Chris Walker (they/them) uses their powers of acute observation and empathy to create space for and unite marginalized communities in the arts and non-profit sectors. Armed with a musician’s mind and museum exhibition background complemented by business training, they uplift marginalized storytellers as Head of Exhibition for Open Television, an Emmy-nominated short-form film platform and intersectional artist incubator. Chris regularly collaborates with cultural programming and event production agency, Luce Ends, including co-production of Drink Chicago Style, the annual cocktail gathering, Citizen Food, an educational food conference, and Central Standard, a design expo.
Chris is involved as a musician and an active board member with Lakeside Pride, Chicago’s premier family of performance groups for members and friends of the LGBTQ community. They play the saxophone and guitar and are currently studying at Old Town School of Folk Music.
