Holding Space Part I: Strategies for Anti-Oppressive Facilitation

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How can we facilitate spaces where we actually put our anti-oppressive principles into practice? How can anti-oppressive remote facilitation allow us to adapt in this time of COVID-19 and uprisings? Join us as we explore a facilitation framework that centers Black people, non-Black people of color, disabled people, LGBTQI+ folks, survivors, & more. We'll examine how various approaches & activities can build solidarity and safety rather than repeat old harmful dynamics. Whether we’re new or long-time facilitators, this workshop will give us a space to deepen our existing skills & leave with shiny, effective principles and tools for liberatory facilitation. Part I of a two-part series.
