We are excited to host 24 Virtual Network Gatherings this year. Network gatherings are taking place before and after conference and many are INVITE ONLY, those that are open to new guests will be updated in Sched. To learn more about Network Gatherings go here.

We offer a sliding scale registration rate so that the conference can be accessible to as many people as possible. Please support the AMC by giving generously with your registration contribution.

Julia Cuneo is a Detroit based activist and theorist in education justice and youth liberation. As a youth organizer with DAYUM, their work seeks to resist the imbalance of power that exists in schools. They seek to create a new framework for envisioning education liberation.

David Stovall , Ph.D. is a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His scholarship investigates three areas 1) Critical Race Theory, 2) the relationship between housing and education, and 3) the intersection of race, place and school.

Detroit Area Youth Uniting Michigan or DAYUM is Michigan's only activist organization entirely run by high school aged youth. DAYUM's mission is to fight for accountability from leaders, justice for our communities, and a seat at the table for all marginalized youth.
