Our social movements helped shape the early internet but corporate backlash has since pushed our movements’ reliance on corporate technologies.
In this workshop, activists of the liberatory Internet movement will guide participants in an interactive time-line exercise: identifying and mapping the points in our movements’ histories that have shaped our relationship with the Internet for the last half century and collectively visualizing and strategizing what our future relationship should be.
