How can disability arts and culture inform podcasting? In this interactive workshop, members of the Critical Design Lab will show how to incorporate consideration of disability and access in every part of a podcast, from choosing interviewees, creating a workflow, devising questions, designing show notes, creating transcripts, designing graphics and image descriptions, designing introductory segments and audio descriptions, and moving beyond the audio format to multi-modal podcast episodes.

Kelsie Acton is a neurodivergent PhD candidate working on SSHRC funded research examining accessibility and timing in disability dance. Her choreography has been supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
